Bulk Pricing for 100% Grass-Fed Ground BeefGina Palladino
First, a little history: when we started Mary’s Land Farm in 2015, we sought a breed of cattle that thrives in a 100% grass-fed environment. Area farmers told us we could never finish beef successfully without a “fattening up” corn-based period. While this might be true for other breeds, our Devon cattle produces gourmet beef on a 100% grass diet.
Now, to present day: many families come to the Farm Store specifically for our carefully-produced, cost-effective bulk ground beef.
Bulk buyers report that our ground beef is leaner and juicier than most store-bought beef. Some say it tastes sweeter. Several have even told us their children will only eat our ground beef. (It’s important for young people to develop their palates early!)
And most purchasers are surprised to learn this versatile, filling protein used in main dishes, sauces, and side dishes, contains high amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B6, vitamin E, beta-carotene, and conjugated linoleic acid – which may reduce heart disease and cancer risk.
Some customers also ask for new recipes and inspiring ideas for ground beef. Here are few from our Secolari website:
Beef Boulette with Eggs Nestled in Tomato Sauce – This is a “tajine kefta,” a traditional recipe that includes meatballs, tomato sauce with some spices, and eggs, which are nestled in with the cooked meatballs and tomato sauce.
Meatballs with Ouzo – These hearty and plump meatballs have a crispy and crunchy outside and soft and fluffy inside. They’re usually served with a glass of Ouzo.
Chef Alba’s Moroccan Lettuce Wraps – Crunchy Romaine lettuce becomes the edible vessels for this heavenly Moroccan dish. Let your taste buds savor the unique flavors and warming spices of this elegant dish.
And finally, the discount prices for bulk ground beef include:
10lbs – $70
50lbs – $300
100lbs – $500
Note: Our vacuum-packed ground beef can store safely in a good freezer for up to a year.
We hope you and your family enjoy our 100% grass-fed (and finished) ground beef. If you have feedback, a new recipe, or questions, reach us today at [email protected].
