It’s time to get ready for the 2024 Camp Season!! We look forward to another great year of camp here at Mary’s Land Farm.
With many new friends and visitors within the past year, we want to give everyone an opportunity to learn more about our summer camp offerings! This open house event will give you, our future campers and any guests a chance to come tour the farm, meet some of our camp staff, and ask any questions about camp they might have. Let this be a good “get to know us” event if you aren’t quite sold on our camp just yet.

Extended Hours: 9:30AM-12:30AM – Come anytime before 11am!
Dress: It’s going to be very wet and muddy due to the rain Friday night. Most of the farm has solid surfaces. If you would like to see the Goats, Miniature Horses, Kunekune pigs, Emus and Alpacas which are all currently in the “middle woods”, it’s going to be muddy so you’ll need boots or shoes you don’t value keeping clean.
Directions: Our address is 4979 Sheppard Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042. After you arrive at the main (paved) entrance, you need to drive down the road about 1/2 mile to see the farm campus. If you come in through the gravel road, construction entrance, drive to the top of the hill and turn right on the pavement, drive past the solar field on your right, and then turn left on the main paved drive.
Parking: Due to the rain, the fields usually used for parking are soft. For this reason, you might be asked by a parking attendant to park on the side of the road with one tire on and one tire off the road. This allows for the best circulation, allows the wagon to pass by and avoids anyone getting stuck in a field. Please follow parking attendant directions when you arrive.
Please feel free to arrive between 9:00 and 11 and take part in whatever activities you’d like. Here are some times to keep in mind for the morning:
Wagon Rides:
Available continuously 9:30 am until 12:30pm
Non-stop tour loops around the farm between 9:30-10:45
Hop-on/Hop-off between 10:45 and 12:30 so you can get to the Greenhouse and “Village” Barn
Red Barn Presentation and Q&A by Tom Cunningham, Farm Owner & Camp Director:

Animal Encounters in the Middle Woods: Self Directed between 9:30AM and Noon
Village Barn Opens at 11AM (calves, bunnies, chickens, sheep, ducks). This will give you a more hands-on opportunity to meet some of our farm friends!
Farm Store:
Opens at 9am, stop in to get a free coffee, hot cocoa or tea and shop our farm products and other local goods and treats!
