Summer Camp Director

Goal: The goal of the Summer Camp Director at Mary’s Land Farm is to advance the education and formation of both counselors and campers through healthy farm activities and other formation. The director ideally is a teacher or other professionals who has a command of working with students in an educational setting.  Potentially they have a Masters Degree in education or a related field.

2022 Dates: Summer Camp is from June 13 to August 19. The director is allowed one week of vacation which is not paid. Ideally the Camp Director can work before June 13, but there is a Co-Director who can cover many pre-camp items.

The camp is licensed by the state of Maryland and accredited by the American Camp Association.  We have high standards. 

All staff is required to submit to background checks.  There is zero tolerance for any legal violations, including violations after you have been hired by Mary’s Land Farm.  You are required by the state of Maryland to be fingerprinted and have your fingerprints checked in State and National databases.

Hourly Wage:
Compensation is based on experience and educational level achieved.

Referral Program:

Refer a great candidate to us and receive a check for $200!  If a counselor writes your name on the application, and we hire that counselor, we will pay you $200 after their first week of camp!
