Our Passion

At Mary’s Land Farm, education is our passion! We educate children and adults on farming and its relationship to the greater environment in a fun, hands-on atmosphere. We are dedicated to regenerative agriculture, which is healthy for the earth, animals, employees, and visitors. We wish to shed light on this way of farming with you!

Our Farm

We have layer hens, layer ducks, meat chickens, Katahdin sheep, Red Devon cows, pastured pigs, ponies, greenhouses, and acres of orchards. On our field trips, you’ll learn how the produce and animals work together to keep the soil rich and our bodies healthy.

Our Offerings

We offer field trips to schools, daycare programs, after school programs, scout groups, homeschoolers, and families up and down the East Coast. These educational programs are catered to the age group, and can be made custom to compliment a classroom curriculum.  Available for online registration, we have the Fall Farmer Adventure Field Trip and the Animal Immersion Field Trip.

Farmer Adventure Fall Field Trip

The fall field trip is between September 19 and October 28 at the front of the farm.  Details for the fall field trip are on this page.

Animal Immersion Field Trip

Junior farmers are transported around the farm in a wagon and placed in the fields for hands-on learning with real live animals. It depends on the season as to which animals they are exposed to but chickens, goats and ducks are regulars.

You’ll find picnic tables and plenty of green space for an outdoor snack or meal; plus, you’ll notice a small playset for additional fun.
